Sometimes it is necessary to repair Microsoft Office, if you are encountering issues with your Sperry Software add-ins or especially if you previously had a newer version of Office installed, and then installed an older version.  


  1. Exit Outlook
  2. Go to Windows Control Panel
  3. Click on Programs (or Programs and Features)
  4. Click on Uninstall a Program
  5. In the list that appears, find the entry that starts with "Microsoft Office" and highlight it by left clicking once
  6. At the top, click Change
  7. Choose Repair

After the process is complete, restart Outlook.


There is a manual method of clearing out the registry keys that newer versions of Microsoft Office leave behind when uninstalled.  This is also sometimes useful in certain cases if the typical repair process above fails for any reason.
